Digital Library of the Lublin University of Technology - created 1-10-2008, belongs to the Federal Digital Library of the Lublin University of Technology associating 124 institutions providing their collections for free and in electronic form. Its basic subject is available to people with higher and political education.

Its main purpose is to make available educational and scientific resources of the Lublin University of Technology as well as documents related to the history of the university, science and technology.

BCPL is a website providing publications in the DjVu and PDF formats, such as: monographs, textbooks, conferences, dissertations, periodicals, collective works, electronic documents and others.

Most of its collections are available in open access. In 2012, Digital Library PL took the fourth place in Poland in the Web of Repositories Ranking The Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC).
